Academy Manager key skills and experience
- At least UEFA B coaching qualification or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within an associated/similar role.
- Knowledge of running sports teams in competitions/leagues.
- Experience of commercial and business development including building relationships with key employer links, universities, and other stakeholders
- Experience meeting challenging KPIs in a complex setting.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Experience of and an ability to co-ordinate sports curriculum development, planning and delivering outstanding quality assurance and improvement.
- Experience of meeting young persons’ needs and impacting positively on the student experience.
- Ability to cultivate an aspirational culture in which the team and students can thrive and grow.
- Ability to plan, communicate and problem solve effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- An understanding of Safeguarding of Children & Vulnerable Adults within the workplace
SCL Teacher key skills and experiences
ESSENTIAL
- GCSE maths and English, or L2 equivalent.
- A recognised secondary or post 16 teaching qualification, e.g., PGCE, DTTLS, DET, A1 Award, or the willingness to work towards one.
- 3 A-levels or equivalent (NCFE, BTEC etc.), or relevant professional qualifications.
- Degree in relevant areas (E.g., Sports Science, Sports Coaching), or significant sector experience.

- Fitness Instruction and/or Personal Training L2 and L3
