Vocational Employability Tutor

Main Purpose of the Role
The Vocational Tutor will be responsible for all aspects of classroom delivery, delivering a range of regulated and non-regulated learning sessions with a real focus on preparation for employment and progression. The Tutor will be a dynamic individual who is able to develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, while motivating them, raising aspirations, and maintaining standards of effort and conduct.
They will effectively manage the classroom and learners, to ensure learners are making progress through the programme, against specific qualifications and learning aims ensuring adequate support and stretching and challenging activities, whilst also supporting personal objectives such as confidence and career progression.
This role is for classroom-based delivery on a roll on roll off course spanning 16 weeks, delivery of subjects to include but not limited to Awards in Customer Service, Business, health and safety in the workplace as well as bespoke nonregulated sessions to include but not limited to Career mapping, self-motivation, Equity and diversity and British Values.
