Main purpose of position
Working closely with SCL’s Curriculum Manager and SCL teachers, the Academy Manager is responsible for the management of the Sports Enrichment programme as well as the Sports Coach(es) positioned at their site. They will drive learner recruitment and ensure the sporting quality of their site. In addition, the Academy Manager will have an active role in supporting SCL Teachers to deliver exceptional teaching, learning and assessment, which maximises learner progress and enhances each learner’s opportunity to achieve a positive destination. They will help bridge the gap between sporting and classroom achievement, ensuring an exceptional 360o learner experience.
