MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION

 

To successfully lead a team to achieve and exceed targets in line with business priorities and growth opportunities. The Programme Manager will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of our Apprenticeship operational and quality practices.  You will be an experienced manager who can effectively manage and lead a team of Trainers and IQAs to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and support our learners to achieve high quality outcomes.

 

You will be responsible for supporting, mentoring, coaching, and developing the team as required, ensuring our learners and employers receive a first-class learning experience whilst achieving and maintaining high quality retention and achievement rates.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

 

  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager, Group Quality Team, and Head of Client Design to plan and deliver innovative Apprenticeship programmes that meet market demand and customer needs.
  • Assist the Director of Operations and the Commercial Team in ensuring sufficient delivery capacity to support the employer engagement and sales strategy.
  • Oversee the daily activities of your team, set KPIs, and monitor performance.
  • Implement effective case-loading strategies based on sector and skill sets.
  • Conduct observations of teaching, learning, and assessment, and implement a continuous improvement programme to support outstanding learner achievement.
  • Ensure productive workflows through the implementation of robust processes and systems, collaborating with the Compliance, MIS, and On-boarding teams.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records, monitor and report on performance, and analyse data to identify interventions and risks.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the department’s SAR and QIP.
