We are now expanding our offering in sports data analytics apprenticeships, in partnership with Kitman Labs, a global leader in performance intelligence. This strategic role will be pivotal in shaping the future of data-driven talent development in sport.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Strategic Business Development Manager will lead the growth of our sports data apprenticeship portfolio, identifying and securing partnerships with elite and grassroots sports organisations, governing bodies, and performance-focused institutions. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics in sport, commercial acumen, and the ability to build credible relationships in a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic business development for sports data apprenticeships, leveraging our partnership with Kitman Labs.

Identify and secure new business opportunities with professional clubs, academies, and performance departments.

Represent SCL Professional at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote our data apprenticeship offering.

Collaborate with curriculum and delivery teams to ensure commercial opportunities align with learner outcomes and industry needs.

Analyse market trends in sports technology and performance analytics to inform strategic direction.

Maintain accurate CRM and financial tracking for all business development activity.

Educate partners on the full commercial offering of SCL Education Group, with a focus on data and performance pathways.

Champion the Sport Data & Media vertical internally and externally, driving visibility and growth.
