We are seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Lead to provide oversight and governance of Health & Safety across SCL’s national, multi-site provision.
MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION
To ensure robust compliance, effective risk management and a strong safety culture across all sites, providing assurance that systems, processes and practices are consistent, compliant and impactful.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Support in leading the Health & Safety strategy and improvement plan
- Provide risk-focused reporting to senior leaders and governance
- Line manage and develop the Health & Safety team
- Oversee checks, audits, investigations and risk assessments
- Ensure statutory compliance and strong policy frameworks
- Identify trends, risks and implement effective solutions across sites
We are looking for a confident person with strong multi-site H&S experience, a proactive and friendly approach with the ability to influence and challenge to drive high standards.
