Main Purpose of Position
The Recruitment and Onboarding Advisor is responsible for providing specialist advice and operational support across recruitment, onboarding, and employee compliance within SCL Education Group. This role ensures all employees are recruited, onboarded, and managed in line with Safeguarding, Ofsted, and organisational requirement, while delivering a positive and compliant employee experience.
You will support the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding journey, ensuring all processes meet regulatory and internal quality standards along with the wider team.
The role holds responsibility for maintaining the Single Central Record, coordinating and verifying DBS checks, and ensuring the completion and monitoring of mandatory training to support safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
You will also support the wider People Team with employee relation matters, providing guidance and administrative support in line with organisational policies and procedures.
The safety and welfare of children is paramount to SCL, all applicants will be subject to thorough background checks to ensure their suitability to work with children. These will include, but are not limited to; reference checks, police checks, DBS checks and qualification checks.
