Main Purpose of Position
The main purpose for this role, is to support the business in achieving its growth target by converting warm leads generated by our Marketing team and support them in enrolling onto one of our Adult Skills Funded programmes.
The Conversion Specialist is responsible for building a positive relationship with our Adult Learners after they have expressed an interest in one of our provisions. They are responsible for support with Information, Advice and Guidance of the programme and the enrolment process and start their learning experiences. The conversion specialist will be responsible for conversion of initial interest to starting a programme, managing the client expectations for enrolment and their learning journey, working with the commercial team to support achieving business divisions targets, working with Admissions to support onboarding and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
To engage with all leads generated from multiple sources, convert leads into complete fully compliant applications ready to start a course / programme.
- Proactively manage adult learner enquiries from multiple sources (including website, referrals, marketing campaigns and partners), ensuring timely and personalised follow-up.
- Provide high-quality information, advice and guidance (IAG) to prospective learners, helping them make informed decisions about learning pathways, funding and progression.
- Convert enquiries into enrolments by building rapport, addressing barriers to learning, and supporting learners through eligibility checks and enrolment processes.
- Ensure all learner recruitment and conversion activity is fully compliant with relevant Adult Skills funding rules.
- Accurately assess and record learner eligibility, prior attainment and funding status, ensuring evidence requirements are met and auditable.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate learner records within MIS systems, supporting high standards of data quality and integrity
