To lead the strategic direction of facilities, premises compliance and estate management across the organisation's multi-site estate, ensuring all premises are safe, compliant, well-maintained and support the organisation's long-term growth.
Reporting to the Executive Group Director of Learner Services, the Head of Facilities will own the facilities and estate strategy, the Facilities budget, and the organisation's approach to statutory compliance and Health & Safety governance. The postholder will lead the Facilities Manager and, through them, the wider Health & Safety and site-based facilities teams.
The Head of Facilities will represent facilities and estates matters at senior leadership level, providing assurance to the Executive Team and Board that the estate is safe, compliant and fit to support current and future organisational needs, including new site mobilisation and capital investment.
This is the senior leadership role within the facilities function, with genuine scope to shape estate strategy, lead capital works and investment planning, and build a proactive, forward-looking approach to facilities and compliance across a growing multi-site organisation.
