If you are looking for a brilliant first step into recruitment or HR, this apprenticeship gives you the chance to learn while making a real contribution. You will be supported by an experienced and approachable People Team, gaining practical experience across recruitment and onboarding while working towards a recognised qualification. With remote working and a flexible approach, you will have the freedom to organise your working day while staying connected to colleagues who are ready to guide, support and help you grow.
The Recruitment and Onboarding Apprentice will support the People Team with recruitment and onboarding administration while completing a relevant apprenticeship programme. With guidance and training, you will learn how to deliver an organised, welcoming and compliant experience for candidates and new employees across SCL Education Group.
Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will help coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding journey, develop your knowledge of safer recruitment and learn how our processes meet safeguarding, Ofsted and internal quality standards.
You will assist with pre-employment checks, including Right to Work, references, qualifications and DBS documentation, and help keep recruitment and employee records accurate and up to date.
As your confidence and knowledge grow, you may also provide general administrative support to the wider People Team. You will have regular guidance, feedback and opportunities to apply the learning from your apprenticeship in the workplace.
