Apprenticeship Title - The Community Activator Coach Standard
Duration - 12 month apprenticeship
Hours - 16hrs per week. Mon - Fri
Qualifications - All sports qualifications undertaken by successful applicant will be paid for by Goal Sports
Own car advised due to various locations
The learner will be expected to perform the following:
- Help deliver Sports sessions within school, as well as during after school club sessions.
- Be expected to be able to plan and deliver Sports sessions after guidance and experience gained.
- To comply with child protection, health and safety and work within a caring and professional coaching environment.
- To assist the head coach during sessions, learning the coaching role whilst doing so.
- Referee Sports matches within sessions
- Be a role model to young participants
- To have enthusiasm towards coaching and basic knowledge of football as a minimum.
