We are seeking a proactive, Analytical and detail-oriented individual to provide essential trading support within our retail trading team. This role involves assisting the Trading team and supporting the management of stock levels, sales performance, and margin targets in line with budget constraints. The successful candidate will contribute to both seasonal and core range reviews, attend supplier and internal meetings, and ensure timely follow-up on action points.
In addition, the role requires close collaboration with various departments to drive project completion and resolve store-level trading queries. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs are key to succeeding in this dynamic role.
Experience / Skills Required:
- Strong written, analytical and verbal communication abilities
- Full, valid driving licence
- Proficient in the use of computers and standard software applications, spreadsheet based
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and succeed
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the SAP operating system
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data handling and analysis
- Previous experience in a fast paced retail environment
- Interest in retail trends and creative display
